Year 4 Parent Workshop
In our recent Design and Technology (DT) parent workshop, we engaged in a creative project where participants were challenged to construct a model of a traditional Nepalese temple using cardboard. The activity emphasised folding techniques and careful cutting to replicate the intricate designs and layered roofs typical of Nepalese architecture. Parents and students collaborated to visualise, measure, and build structures that honoured the unique features of these temples. This hands-on experience fostered teamwork, creativity, and an appreciation for cultural architectural styles, all while enhancing practical skills in design and construction.
